Jane Fonda said in an interview for “The Sunday Telegraph” that she had administrated the anabolic steroid testosterone. It was her first time, when she made her intake of testosterone public. She is 73 years old. She noted that she had started to use testosterone at the age of 70. Her purpose was to induce her sex drive. The actress desired to improve her sex life.
It is necessary to mention that Jane Fonda was considered to be the sex symbol of 1960s. Lately she published a new book. The title is following: “Prime Time: Love, health, sex, fitness, friendship, spirit-making the most of all of your life”. As you guess, she writes what a person has to do in order to achieve healthy life, healthy sex and to be satisfied the whole life. One of the chapters describes ways to enhance libido in older individuals. She doesn’t make any referencies to steroids.
Jane Fonda said about undesirable effects of the steroid testosterone in the interview for “The Sunday Telegraph”. She told that she had stopped applying testosterone because acnes had troubled her . Nevertheless, the actress recommends taking the steroid testosterone to improve sex life.
It is known that the anabolic steroid testosterone is a good medication for increase of sex drive. But unwanted reactions of this preparation can be quite severe. The Food and Drug Administration didn’t approve this drug to increase sex drive in females. Several persons say that conservative attitudes to female sexuality disturbed the FDA from approval of this drug for female sex drive.
