It is needed to do much work in order to reach significant levels in bodybuilding

Bodybuilding is not included in exciting sports. Any bodybuilder can support this affirmation. Those that are involved in bodybuilding spend much time at gyms, training; they prepare appropriate food and make uninterrupted researches. What is this work done for? – Only for 30 seconds on stage. Of course, if bodybuilders achieve high results, they receive awards, praise, and admiration of others. Their pictures are posted on covers of fit magazines. They become well-known.
Unluckily, the most of bodybuilders never achieve this level because it is required much work and money for this goal. But any bodybuilder dreams about this level: to be a top bodybuilder, to obtain money and other awards. If you have any interest to learn what is needed for success in bodybuilding, you can look at Jay Cutler and certain other individuals. You may also find out role of steroids for achievement of success in bodybuilding.
Jay Cutler is one of the most well-known bodybuilders in history. Moreover, he has got Mr. Olympia titles 4 times. This person spends much time for sports. He notes that he doesn’t make plans. He eats around the clock. Jay Cutler consumes 4, 000 – 7, 000 calories a day. Chicken breasts are at the center of his many meals.
It is interesting to notice that Cutler spends more time for eating than for workouts. He lifts for circa two hours and gets cardio an hour daily. Jay Cutler claims that his day differs substantially from thoughts of people about it. Those that are not involved in bodybuilding believe that bodybuilders train 8 hours per day. They think that if they administer steroids, they will have the same appearance like professional bodybuilders.
Jay Cutler notices that steroids are not everything in bodybuilding but they play a great role in it. He confirms that if anybody desires to reach obvious success in sports, he/she should use steroids. Ron Stevens, who is in the sport 15 years, supports the statement of Jay Cutler about steroids. He notices that it is impossible to compete without intake of these preparations. After certain shows Ron Stevens made the decision to apply steroids.
Stevens is a dedicated bodybuilder as well. He eats much food that could be sufficient for a family that consists of five members.
The most of bodybuilders don’t have great supplement contracts. They don’t have enough money in order to support their efforts and obtain titles of Mr. Olympia.
In fact, the most of dedicated bodybuilders have regular jobs and dream that they will achieve evident success one day.
Cutler had two jobs. He worked and spent every dollar he got for bodybuilding. Finally, he achieved great success. His every effort was paid off.
Pondering about Jay Cutler, any bodybuilder may be encouraged to hope that he will succeed greatly one day. Uncelebrated bodybuilders can dream at least.

Did the NFL violate rights of D. J. Williams and Ryan McBean?

The National Football League sentenced to suspensions D. J. Williams, a linebacker, and Ryan McBean, a defensive lineman, of the team Denver Broncos for violation of steroid policy. These football players were banned from 6 games. But they were not suspended for usage of steroids. They didn’t test positive for steroids or other controlled substances. They were accused in providing “non-human” urine samples to the drug testing officer.
D. J. William said in an interview that he had never tested for any forbidden substance during 8 years of his career. The football player added that he was proud of his records. The football player noted that he was also proud of his manner in that he conducted himself, being a sportsman.
Peter Schaffer, the defensive attorney for McBean, affirmed that the NFL had violated rights of the defensive lineman. He noticed that since McBean had never tested positive for any prohibited drug, the NFL didn’t have any right to sentenced him to ban.
Peter Schaffer noticed that he intended to make it clear that neither D. J. Williams, nor Ryan McBean tested positive for banned medicines.
A lawsuit was filed in Denver County Court against suspensions of these football players.
The players confirmed that the drug testing officer had violated some rules connected with the procedure of collecting urine samples.
Schaffer noticed that several similarities had been between his client and Ryan Braun. Braun won his appeal linked with his suspension from 50 games for application of testosterone. Ryan Braun could prove that Dino Laurenzi, the drug testing officer, violated steroid policy.
As for Laurenzi, different anti-doping agencies defended and supported him. The WADA also supported him. It was said that there was the same procedure of collecting and sending urine samples not only for the MLB but also for the WADA.
But as for the drug testing officer that collected samples of Williams and McBean, another attitude was displayed to him. He was fired by the NFL for wrong doing his duty.
At the hearing the NFL administrators acknowledged that the drug testing officer violated the chain of custody for urine samples.
Nevertheless, the appeal on behalf of the players was rejected.

Working in a low-paying company that produced shampoos and hair gels, Patrick Arnold decided to start manufacturing steroids

No one from New Jersey wants to be involved in a low-paying job that is connected with production of chemicals which are applied in shampoos and hair gels. Let remind what has happened in this state in 1994.
Patrick Arnold, a person of the age of 24, was alone in a room. He was mixing certain specific thickeners in order to enhance viscosity of certain solutions. Patrick Arnold was doing this job much time. Thus, he had sufficient time to think about his life, condemning it. This guy was unhappy that the job was bothering and nothing interesting happened. But there was no any other place to go.
However his future was before him, certain months passed before he found the way.
Patrick Arnold was a zealous weightlifter. But he has stopped much time ago to put his efforts in order to become bigger. Nonetheless, day by day after his job he went to a gym where he had workouts and had discussions with other guys. Their conversions were frequently connected with anabolic steroids. Arnold had specialized in chemistry at the University of New Haven. Thus,  the discussions about steroids led him to meditations.
Once after this guy had mixed thickeners he went to the chemistry library and looked at molecular structures of the steroids that were presented in some fitness magazines. Anabolic steroids had been already announced to be controlled medications. But there was still a lot of information about these medications.
Looking at molecular structures of steroids, Patrick Arnold was pondering why he was doing that uninteresting job. This young man decided that it would be much better for him to try making steroids himself. He ordered several chemicals through the company. He needed to have them for manufacture of steroids. No one knew what he planned to do.
At the beginning Arnold endured several difficulties. Progress didn’t appear at once. For example, he wanted to make a medication which had to possess a crystalline structure. But it turned out to be that he got liquid that was like sticky oil. He understood that it meant that potentially toxic impurities and reagents were not split from the brew. Step by step he became more experienced. Arnold started to use solvents in order to wash impurities and reagents away. He could produce proper drugs. Their crystalline-like structures indicated that they had needed level of purity.

No one wants to support Jose Canseco

Jose Canseco, a former professional baseball player, turned out to be one of the most scorned individuals in steroid era of baseball. The former player was pushed out professional baseball after he had identified some celebrated baseball players as consumers of steroids in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big”.
Everyone is against Jose Canseco. It is claimed that if any person supported him, it would be Steven Kettman. This person has been a co-author in writing the book of Canseco “Juiced”. But Kettman didn’t defend the former baseball player. Moreover, he was on the opposite side. Being a guest of the Huffington Post, this writer pronounced certain ridiculous words about Canseco’s recent incident related to anabolic steroids.
Jose Canseco tries to come back to professional baseball. He has been invited by the “Tigres de Quintana Roo” of Cancun. This team is a part of the Mexican Baseball League. Playing for the “Tigres de Quintana Roo” would be the next stop of Canseco for returning to the MLB.
But his return to professional baseball has become unsuccessful due to intake of Testosterone Cypionate and Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG)  for testosterone replacement therapy. Many pieces of news suggest that Jose Canseco has tested positive for steroids and has been banned for administration of steroids. But this isn’t true. Jose Canseco has claimed that he has just needed to provide some documents that have supported his therapeutic need to be on TRT in order to be in Mexican Baseball League.
Kettman doesn’t believe that the story about TRT is true. He notes that Jose Canseco must discontinue humiliating himself. This writer says that Jose Canseco should stop acting so, as if he were a cartoon character.
Kettman didn’t make any distinction between clinical Canseco’s need to use steroids for TRT and those that use prohibited medicines for performance-enhancing effects.   Kettman confirms that Jose Canseco continues to administer prohibited products in order to induce increasing performance.
Kettman has tried to discredit certain myths linked with steroids in the book “Juiced”. The book supports usage of steroids for medical purposes and induces application of these medicines for hormone replacement therapy in elder persons.
It is said that the most controversial words of the book are those where authors mention names of Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi, claiming that these players of professional baseball win due to administration of steroids.
Not only Kettman has distanced himself from the book “Juiced”. Canseco has also said that he has nightmares about steroids since writing the book and that he repents about identification of these baseball players. He asked some of them for apologizing.
ESPN sportswriters criticize Jose Canseco for desire to distance himself from the own book.

But the judge refused to accept such excuse. It seemed at the beginning that he planned to hand down even harsher sentence but then he gave a lighter sentence because he had to take into account sentencing guidelines.
The judge Spaeth noted that David Busemeyer had put in danger own safety and safety of other police officers. He put at risk reputation of the whole police department.
It became evident that Busemeyer had extra-marital relationship with the sister of the distributor of steroids who was investigated by the West Chest Police Department. David Busemeyer told his girlfriend and his brother that an investigation to bust the drug dealer began to be conducted.
Although Busemeyer didn’t mention the name of the informant, he presented enough information to understand who the informant was.
Police officials raided the house of Busemeyer and found steroids and evidence of his Administartion of steroids.

Benefits of Naposim cycles
Naposim may be used together with various preparations. For example, combinations of Naposim and Winstrol or Oxandrolone lead to enhancement of energy significantly. An efficacious Naposim cycle that promotes increasing both muscle mass and energy includes Naposim, Sustanon, Deca Durabolin, Nolvadex, Clomid and HCG. This cycle is common; it can be used by novices as well as progressive consumers of steroids. Another Naposim cycle suggests in addition to administration of Naposim such medicines, as Deca Durabolin and Testosterone Cypionate or Testosterone Enanthate. A PCT is a vital aspect that must present after any steroid cycle.

Josh “The Babyfaced Assassin” Barnett, a former American mixed martial artist and wrestler, has got a conditional license by the California State Athletic Commission in order to fight. This person tested positive for the anabolic steroid which is celebrated under the name “Masteron”. It was in June, 2009. His two urine samples manifested that this wrestler had applied this forbidden substance. It was prior to his fight against Fedor Emelianenko which was scheduled on August 1, 2009. As a result of his positive, this athlete was excluded from the event and sentenced to a ban. So, Josh Barnett lost his license.

It was included in the list of the controlled substances later, in 2004. This athlete claimed that it had been legal, when he had administered it.
Several people were surprised that the CSAC granted Barnett a license to fight again. This athlete has never acknowledged that he had used steroids.
This mixed martial artist confirmed that a banned athlete had to talk publicly about evils of steroids in order to participate in competitions again.
Josh Barnett was able to convince the commission that he thought that steroids represented great evil. Barnett asked whether they ever thought that steroids were bad.

Rampage Jackson told about effects of steroids during an interview

The mixed martial artist and actor Quinton “Rampage” Jackson reported about effects of testosterone in the interview with Gary Alexander of “Fighters Only Magazine”. He talked about his decision to apply testosterone, about its effects on increase of muscle mass, weight of the body and his sexual life. He said these words after his fail at UFC 144 in Japan.
The UFC champion was honestly talking about his decision to seek a health care provider that could prescribe him testosterone replacement therapy. He mentioned honestly because he believed that testosterone didn’t belong to anabolic steroids. Rampage Jackson confirmed that steroids were for muscles but testosterone was natural. So, he was mistaken, thinking that testosterone is not an anabolic steroid.
In fact, use of testosterone replacement therapy in mixed martial arts is a debated issue. Testosterone is used legally in case of hypogonadism (low testosterone secretion). Thus, mixed martial artists that have this disease can receive a therapeutic use exemption which allows to use the steroid testosterone legally.
But the issue that is widely discussed is whether the fighter that utilizes therapeutic dosage of testosterone can obtain unfair advantage during competitions.
The most of athletes who have obtained a therapeutic use exemption for usage of testosterone for medical purposes deny receiving any increase of performance due to testosterone replacement therapy.
When it comes to Jackson, he stated that testosterone replacement therapy had increased his muscle size, helped to get faster recovery from his injuries and influenced positively on his sexual abilities. Jackson said that he had had a knee injury. After he had used three doses of testosterone, the knee was healed. He added bodyweight and muscle size. This mixed martial artist noted that small dosages of the steroid testosterone had produced essential changes in him. His sexual life was improved essentially; he began to feel as if he had been just 25.
Rampage Jackson demonized steroids for his impossibility to lose weight in order to compete in the 206lb weight category.
Jackson states that he doesn’t violate any law. He utilizes testosterone and confirms that it is legitimately.
He reports that he is glad that he administers testosterone.

High dosages of inhaled steroids are not able to increase benefits for persons with asthma

Inhaled steroids are ordinarily recommended for treatment of persons with early asthma complications.
According to some latest studies, one may enhance the normal does of inhaled corticosteroids by 8 times, but benefits will be not enhanced under such circumstance. Ejaz Yousef, a specialist who has been involved in these studies, notices that if a health care provider sees that medical position of a person becomes worse, he/she can indicate applying oral steroids instead of enhancing the dose of inhaled corticosteroids. Increasing the quantity of inhaled corticosteroids is not without any adverse reaction. This aspect causes various negative results. For example, the hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal axis may be suppressed in such situation.
Administration of inhaled steroids was considered to be alternative to using oral medications. It was in 1997. It was recommended to indicate inhaled corticosteroids as alternatives of oral medications that are useful for persons with asthma complications.
Then, some researches have shown that application of increased dosages of inhaled corticosteroids regularly doesn’t enhance benefits.
Yousef and his colleagues have conducted a study which involved almost 200 kids of 2-17 years. These children were treated with inhaled steroids during 3 months. They were chosen randomly for treatment for a period of 12 days. Any kid who suffered from asthma complications was given inhaled steroids. Then the results were evaluated by the experts.
No any child who smoked, experienced symptoms of chronic asthma or lung pathology was involved in the study.
Patients needed to let know about their negative consequences per telephone within 72 hours. Thus, it was reported about cough during nighttime, wheeze, shortness of breath and intolerance when it comes to exercises. Every consequence was evaluated according to a score that was ranged from 0 to 4. 0 meant no any sigh; 4 meant the most increased severity level.
Only 4 children out of 82 the children that were given high measures of inhaled corticosteroids had to use systemic corticosteroids. 2 of them were given doubled quantities; others 2 were administering the measure that was more enhanced by 8 times than a standard one.
According to the results of the research, usefulness of the preparations, placebo effect, supervision of doctors and treatment of individuals during early stages of asthma exacerbation were responsible for acquiring good results.
This as well as other studies show that not each story about steroids is connected with abuse and usage of them as doping. Steroids are utilizable for a lot of medical purposes.

Inhaled steroids don’t cause cataract

However there are numerous steroids which cause dangerous undesirable reactions, there are also such steroids that benefit greatly for our health. Several latest researches connected with the inhaled corticosteroid budesonide have given to our society certain light of hope. This product has been taken numerous times to treat children who have asthma. It has been believed that this drug led to cataract in kids that administrated it. But the recent researches have displayed that the possibility related to this negative reaction is quite reduced.
Certain specialists at the University of Southern Denmark in Holding have led a research to determine reality of occurring cataract in the children that were cured with budesonide. There was no any cataract in 148 patients that were using this inhaled steroid. Among those who didn’t have asthma and were not cured with budesonide 2 persons had cataract. It was stated by the pediatric professor Soren Pedersen from the University of the Southern Denmark in Kolding. This report was made during a meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology in San Francisco. Soren Pedersen noted that when it came to cataract, there was no any difference between those who applied budesonide and those who didn’t take it.
The doctor Soren Pederson and his colleagues have cured a lot of patients that experienced asthma with budesonide during over 2 decades. There was no any indication that this inhales steroid could lead to any severe side consequence. Kids that were given budesonide didn’t experience any growth disorders.
In the latest research 270 kids suffering from asthma were given budesonide; 62 children didn’t take budesonide because their parents feared of the consequences. Parents of those to whom budesonide was given said that no any dangerous side result was observed in their children. 30 of those 62 children that applied budesonide felt positive effects in the treatment of asthma.
The experts have determined that the risk of cataract for those who treat asthma with the inhaled steroid budesonide was 5 %.
Soren Pedersen claimed that there was no any cataract or another unwanted consequence related to vision during over 15 years of his practice of treating children with the inhaled steroid budesonide.
Hyun Don Yun, MD, a resident in allergy and immunology at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, has reported that these aspects have shown that even long-time treatment with budesonide doesn’t lead to any unwanted consequence linked with ocular system.
According to certain other researches, inhaled steroids have other influence on our systems in comparison with effects of other steroids.
It is necessary to conclude that there are steroids which can benefit instead of causing serious negative consequences. It is impossible to contest positive effects of some steroids.

Amateur baseball players from the Dominican Republic are lured to use steroids to get a contract for playing in the MLB

The Major League Baseball tries to do everything to prevent intake of steroids. It desires to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be able to achieve the big show. A location where the efforts of the MLB are used and clearly seen is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic want to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. So, the whole family changes the location where the family lives. Unluckily, a lot of individuals are lured to use steroids and other related medications which enhance performance to reach their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country in which a lot of people use steroids and other medicines that increase performance. That’s why an athlete from this location is asked whether he has applied steroids or other related medicines. Undoubtedly, this person claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and everybody fears to be caught using any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests athletes from the Dominican Republic. So, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur sportspersons from this location tested positive. The MLB plans to tests Dominicans and to punish those who dope.
It is proclaimed that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is significantly higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB tries to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are educated about dangers for their health linked with steroids. They are educated about negative effects which can be caused by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a great problem in this situation. The average wage is approximately 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To receive a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a true achievement for any player from this Republic. That’s why athletes from the Dominican Republic are especially lured to dope for such perspectives. They want to obtain a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They desire to obtain it for well-being of their families and for improvement of their lives in future. Signing a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal life, from travelling by public transport to driving own car.
Actually, intake of steroids is not a problem only in the Dominican Republic. It is a trouble which destroys the whole world. No one athlete may be sure whether he competes against an individual who has natural skills and talents or against an individual who dopes. That’s why it is necessary to nip intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth should be taught about risks connected with doping not only in the Dominican Republic or only in the U. S. but everywhere.

The US Attorney’s Office closed the case related to Lance Armstrong

The case against Lance Armstrong connected with doping is proclaimed to be closed. This athlete remains to be considered a 7-time winner at Tour de France.
It is known that federal prosecutors tried to determine whether Lance Armstrong and his teammates have taken part in a doping program. The duration of the investigation has been approximately 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has used forbidden drugs. The accusations against this cyclist threatened to his athletic career as well as to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this person used steroids were in vain.
This cyclist noticed that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office decided to close the case. He noted that it was a right decision. Armstrong mentioned that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
Andre Birote, an attorney announced during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation connected with the case of Lance Armstrong. This person didn’t notice about any reason of this decision. But he indicated that previous similar investigations were also closed.
For example, the investigation linked with Barry Bonds was claimed to be unsuccessful. Prosecutors couldn’t prove that this athlete had cheated about usage of steroids. As for the case connected with Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge announced about previous mistrial.
Investigators thought that a doping program was formed by Armstrong’s team. They wanted to determine whether it was so as they thought. Authorities investigated whether Lance Armstrong encouraged or induced doping.
In fact, prosecutors tried to find out whether Armstrong and his team broke federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Lance Armstrong wasn’t forced to testify before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were charged with lying under oath.
Frank, a former teammate of Lance Armstrong, and her wife Betsy Andreu charged Armstrong with intake of forbidden medicines. They confirmed that they were shocked by the decision to close the investigation. They concluded that such situations happened due to power of money.

Ryan Braun tested positive for steroids

However Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a suspension for intake of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This sportsman didn’t acknowledge to usage of forbidden drugs. Ryan Braun noticed that he had become a victim of a false positive. This baseball player fights against the results that have been announced.
Altough it has been recently discussed whether steroid users are allowed to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they don’t lose their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted steroid users keep their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell proclaimed that Ryan Braun would be permitted to receive the MVP awards. Earlier other users of steroids were permitted also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these sportspersons admitted that they had administrated steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Ryan Braun had enhanced level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has manifested about exogenous type of testosterone. In fact, this test can’t manifest real amount of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was used by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was applied carbon isotope ratio testing which confirmed about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Numerous sportswriters thought that Ryan Braun should have left his MVP awards due to the positives for prohibited drugs. But this player made another decision. He decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false accusations in administration of steroids. This player said that characters of individuals are revealed in such situations of adversary. Ryan Braun claimed that he had a great respect to baseball. Ryan Braun added that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with respect and appreciation to baseball.
It was said that Ryan Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball who didn’t need to use steroids to be capable to play. When this player heard about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was very surprised. He mentioned that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to say about intake of prohibited medicines.
Ryan Braun made a decision to fight against the results of his tests, claiming that unusual circumstances surrounded this case. He mentioned that he would display his innocence and false positives.

King Mo Lawal denies steroid use

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t like each other. They didn’t manifest their negative attitude to each other for several years. During an interview Lawal noted about their relationships, mentioning that he doesn’t have good opinion about Rampage Jackson that also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it isn’t surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson expressed his thoughts about the fact related to Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson mentioned that it was quite obvious that King Mo Lawal had used steroids. He said that Lawal wasn’t a real fighter. He applied steroids to have ability to fight.
Rampage Jackson claimed that there were fighters that were allowed to use steroids. He referred to those who had to use steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This person said that it was a great difference between purposes. Fighters and other sportspeople are allowed to use steroids for TRT and not for enhancement of performance, according to Quinton Rampage Jackson.
This mixed martial artist notes that there are people who suffer from certain health troubles. They consult their physicians who prescribe steroids. They administrate these medications to be relieved from health problems and to stay competitive. But Jackson adds that there are fighters that administrate steroids in order to increase their performance. It is quite sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
Nonetheless, intake of steroids for hormone replacement therapy by athletes is a quite controversial issue.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson acknowledged that they had administrated steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage Jackson is a fighter who claimed about permission to use steroids as a part of TRT by sportspersons. But there are other fighters that don’t support this opinion. A lot of athletes have the same opinion as Michael Bisping has. They claim that steroid use is just justified by clinical conditions. They believe that all fighters who take anabolic steroids, noting that they are on TRT, are liars.
King Mo Lawal says that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both this fighter and his manager claim that they are really surprised by the results of the test.
A fight between Jackson and Lawal was waiting by many fans. There were some rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the hopes of fans were not justified. Lawal has to serve a ban.

However Tom Verducci claims that doping makes competitions unfair, he has voted for a steroid user

The American sportswriter Tom Verducci says about debates linked with possibility of steroid users to be chosen for the Baseball Hall of Fame. But as it usually happens, this explanation manifests just confusion of reporters about steroids.
The Baseball Writers Association of America (BWAA) is a professional association of baseball journalists who elect players for the National Baseball Hall of Fame. All sportswriters who are members of the BWAA already not less than 10 years have possibility to vote for up to 10 players for the Hall of Fame.
Recently it was a debate between members of the BWAA. They discussed whether admitted or only suspected users of steroids and other prohibited medications might entry into Cooperstown.
Members of the BWAA usually should comment their votes: they have to explain why they have voted pro or contra certain issues. Some of them claim that doping destructs the integrity of sports and usage of forbidden medicines is frequently claimed by them to be immoral.
As for Tom Verducci, he doesn’t think that intake of steroids is necessarily a moral question. He says that steroids help consumers to take unfair advantage over those who don’t dope. According to this sportswriter, performance-enhancing drugs make competitions unfair. So, usage of prohibited products induces unfairness in sports. That’s why Tom Verducci denies any link between doping and morality. This sportswriter confirms that it is a question that is linked with performance but not to morality. So, Verducci supposes that consumers of steroids must not be allowed to be in the Hall of Fame. But he has voted for Jeff Bagwell, an admitted steroid user. This athlete has acknowledged that he had used androstenedione. It is necessary to note that this medication was not classified as an anabolic steroid, when Bagwell administrated it. According to the Control Act 2004, it is listed among forbidden preparations. Since it wasn’t legally considered to be a steroid, Verducci decided to vote for the consumer of this medication; however, it was always called an anabolic-androgenic steroid by scientists. Furthermore, it was said that Bagwell just became bigger but didn’t promote his performance due to usage of androstenedione.
Nevertheless, the decision of Verducci to vote for the admitted consumer of the steroid is quite controversial. The following question appears: “Maybe Tom Verducci is not against usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs by athletes?” Since this sportswriter doesn’t believe that doping is a moral question, he may suppose that enhancement of performance is not a real problem.
Numerous persons suggest that usage of steroids represents evil because they are illegal.

Intake of controlled substances by surfers

Anabolic steroids are taken by surfers too. Sport governing body announces that controlled preparations are a great problem in this sport. That’s why the Association of Surfing Professionals made a decision to implicate testing for anabolic steroids and other prohibited drugs which are used for increase of performance.
The Association of Surfing Professionals had some discussions with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). They asked how they could introduce testing for banned products into surfing. Since anti-doping program of the WADA is claimed to be the best policy, the surfing organization intends to apply this protocol. Undoubtedly, this is the next victory of the WADA which contributes in the opportunity to manage anti-doping programs in sports.
It is known that surfing is a competitive sport. So, strength, speed and endurance are main abilities that promote winning. So, surfers could think that administration of anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs promotes success greatly. It is also necessary to take in consideration that amount of money that is received by winners is large. Winners obtain no less than 100, 000 dollars. Desire to get money could lead surfers to decision to administrate anabolic steroids.
Nonetheless, it is said that usage of anabolic steroids and other medications that increase performance is not widespread in surfing. A lot of individuals believe that administration of recreational drugs is more widespread among surfers than intake of steroids. Sport of 1970s and 1980s was oftan associated with marijuana and lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). Current facts justify this impression. The number of surfers who are caught administrating marijuana, methamphetamine and cocaine is quite enhanced.
Andi Irons, a professional surfer, died in November 2010. A heart attack that he had was caused by drug abuse. It was determined that steroids hadn’t been involved in this fatal case. Traces of methamphetamine, cocaine and methadone metabolites were found in his system.
Another surfer, Peter Davi, died in December 2007. Enhanced levels of meth were also found in his system.
As for the professional surfer Anthony Ruffo, he was caught distributing meth.
Only the professional surfer from Brazil Neco Padaratz was caught taking steroids. He was sentenced to one-year ban. This person tested positive for prohibited drugs in 2004. This surfer said that he had administrated these products to get a complete recovery from back injuries. In spite of his defense, he was sentenced to a ban. He was the first individual who was caught taking steroids by the Association of Surfing Professionals. According to numerous sources, he remains to be the only surfer who has ever been caught by the ASP.
The ASP has already the initial budget for introduction of the WADA steroid program into surfing.
While it is unlikely that steroids represent a problem in surfing, the new drug-testing program may create a wrong public impression.

Anabolic steroids should not be demonized for Hegstrand’s death

The Road Warriors, a professional wrestling tag team, were first that introduced bodybuilding-type muscularity in this sport. This tag team was composed of Hawk (Mike Hegstrand) and Animal (Joe Laurinaitis). Hegstrand died in 2003. The death of this person was sudden because of a heart attack. This person died at the age of 46. As it is known, popular media usually writes about deaths of professional wrestlers, connecting the cases with administration of anabolic steroids. The death of Hegstrand was not an exception. After his death many articles appeared in newspapers which demonized anabolic steroids for this case.
Joe “Animal” Laurinaitis admitted to administration of steroids by this professional wrestling team. But he confirmed that these medications hadn’t caused Hegstrand’s death. He added that other conditions were responsible for Hegstrand’s death as well as deaths of other wrestlers. Joe Laurinaitis noticed that such drugs, as cocaine and Xanax had to be demonized for such cases. Laurinaitis claimed that he wanted to explain that steroids had not been connected with death of Hegstrand.
Joe Laurinaitis noted that cocaine and Xanax had contributed in the death of this professional wrestler. He also said that these drugs caused deaths of such individuals, as Henning, Rick Rude and Davey Boy Smith. According to Joe Laurinaitis, administration of cocaine frequently leads to intake of morphine. These drugs corrupt health completely and cause heart attacks.
Why must affirmation of Laurinaitis be true? He was in Australia with Hegstrand. He knows about what he tells. Recently this wrestler joined to Andrew William Wright to say about his experiences with “Hawk”.

If steroid dealers were cautious, they could prevent arrests

Distribution of anabolic steroids without any prescription to increase performance is illegal in United States. If anybody wants to sell these medications and is implicated in operations related to the steroid black market, this individual takes risks having serious problems. But there are also ways to avoid or lower risks being caught by police officers.
Steroid dealers have to follow all traffic rules. This aspect is very important. If a person violates any traffic rule, driving his vehicle, police officials’ attention will be attracted on this action. Imagine what happens: when anyone violates speed limit laws, he/she will be stopped by police officials. Furthermore, if this individual also smokes pot with his friend, driving the vehicle and violating traffic laws, drug-sniffing dogs will be probably brought to determine whether there are any drugs in the car.
Furthermore, clever steroid dealers store the all preparations, the price list and the customer list in a safe place. But if several distributors of steroids keep all these things in the car in which they were smoking pot, violating speed limit rules, they will be caught possessing steroids illegally with intentions to distribute them. Then the troubles begin.
Steroid dealers may think that it isn’t required to describe such advices because it goes without any saying that all distributors of illegal drugs comprehend these precautions. But real facts show that some distributors of steroids make such mistakes and that’s why they are caught.
A case will be presented further. Deputies of Yavapai County Sheriff Office stopped a vehicle driven by Johnson because this man violated certain traffic laws. The deputies supposed that there might be contraband in this car. The suppositions were justified. Marijuana, some 10-ml vials of the steroid testosterone and syringes were found in this cat. Some documents founded in the vehicle showed that the amounts of steroids were at the price of over 3,000 dollars.

Plastic surgery is used for increase of performance in fighter

Sportspeople are always looking for any ways to increase their performance. No one can doubt about it. That’s why numerous athletes use anabolic steroids or/and other drugs that possess performance-enhancing effects. But there is another method as well. Mixed martial artists use even plastic surgery for this need.
It is known that fighters have facial lacerations. This is the nature of this sport. After mixed martial artists have experienced a cut, they become more inclined to following cuts. The scar tissue can develop; wounds are sutured in certain situations improperly. It happens that surgeons suture only the superficial layer of the skin. It is not well because it results in improper healing of underlying tissue.
An interesting article about the plastic surgeon Frank Stile was published by the writer Jake Rossen. This physician makes surgeries for mix martial artists. Frank Stile removes the scar tissue and replaces it with tissue from donated corpses. Such procedures are often used for cosmetic needs. Frank Stile turns to be the first surgeon who has used this procedure for increase of performance in mixed martial artists.
It is also important to mention that prominent facial bones in the nose, brow and cheek may make the fighters predisposed to cuts. But it may be avoided as well. Surgeons can remove the sharp edges. It can help to avoid potential lacerations.
Since predispositions to lacerations disturb fighters to reach better results, certain specialists claim that it is possible to create a super-fighter due to plastic surgery. So, these fighters will possess essential competitive advantages.
Earlier experts thought about this aspect as well. It may display the work written by the science fiction author Richard Matheson. The story was written in 1956. Richard Matheson described a future. It was written that people watched how large robot athletes fought, trying to destruct one another’s CPUs.
When Matheson was creating the story, he didn’t suppose that it would be provocative. Numerous people desired to see other sportspeople in reality. They desired the fighter to be other than human. That’s why a lot of people invested much money, hoping to achieve this result.
It is possible to suppose that cosmetic operation will soon reach the level of the method of steroid use and administration of other performance-enhancing preparations.
Of course, many ethical questions appear under this circumstance. But some specialists claim that it is too late to discuss these questions. Human performance is already closely linked with technological progress. The corruption of sports has started numerous years ago and it can’t be stopped, according to opinions of many experts.
Anti-doping agencies have displayed that they can’t war on steroids and other banned products effectively. Will anybody be able to keep fighters from surgeries?
