Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank reached an agreement

Oscar De La Hoya is the president of Golden Boy Promotions. Richard Schaefer is the CEO of this company. These persons suspected the boxer Manny Pacquiao in intake of steroids. Since this accusation could hurt Many Pacuiao’s career, he filed a defamation lawsuit against Oscar De La Hoya, Richard Schaefer, the boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his father.
But then Manny Pacquiao and Bob Arum, the CEO of Top Rank, achieved an agreement with the company Golden Boy Promotions. Thus, the suspected fighter dropped lawsuit against the president and CEO of the promotional company Golden Boy Promotions. But the defamation lawsuit against the boxer Floyd Mayweather and his father remained in power.
The Chief Executive Officer and the president of Golden Boy Promotions confirmed that they denied their prior confirmations about accusation in steroid use by Manny Pacquiao. They claimed that there was no any reason to accuse Manny Paquiao in intake of forbidden preparations. They recognized that Manny Pacquiao was one of the best boxers of all times. At the end of agreement, the president of Golden Boy Promotions and Bob Arum, the founder of Top Rank, shook their hands.
It is claimed that the apology will promote competing between Top Rank fighters and Golden Boy boxers.
Since the suspicion was related to Manny Pacquiao, the apology was related to him too. The fighter accepted it and dropped the defamation that was related to the CEO and the president of Golden Boy Promotions.
At the beginning the accusation in intake of performance-enhancing drugs delayed the fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather. It happened because Mayweather insisted on tests for forbidden medicines by the WADA.
Later Mayweather refused to fight with this boxer again, referring to steroid accusation. It caused enhanced impatience in fans because they were waiting for the fight.
